Spinning
Card clothing, aprons and cots, travellers and rings — the longest wear-part chain in the mill, and the one where a single worn item shows up as a yarn quality problem.
Request a quotePrimeTex supplies machines, wear parts and consumables to mills across Egypt — and puts a technician on your floor when a line stops.
01What we supply
From opening and carding through to finishing and making-up. Tell us the process and we will tell you what we can source.
About
We supply textile machinery and the spare parts that keep it in production, and we service what we sell.
PrimeTex sources machines for every stage of textile production and stocks the wear parts that determine whether a line runs. We work with mill owners and production managers who need a supplier who understands their equipment, not a catalogue that lists everything and holds nothing.
A knitting machine with worn sinker cams is not a maintenance issue — it is lost production, every hour, until the right part arrives. The part number matters, the gauge matters, and the generation of the machine matters. Getting one of those wrong costs more than the part.
Send us the machine brand, model and the part number from the nameplate, or a photograph of it. We come back with availability, lead time and price. If we cannot source it, we say so rather than leaving a request open.
02Spare parts & accessories
Matched to your machine by manufacturer part number. Tell us the brand, model and gauge and we confirm fitment before you order.

Fitment first

Where we work
Egyptian textile production concentrates in a handful of identifiable centres. Being close to them is what turns a spare part into a running line the same week rather than the next month.
04Recent work
A sample of recent installations and service contracts. Machine details are shown as supplied by the customer.

05Inside the trade
Spinning, weaving, knitting and making-up — the processes behind every part number we quote.
Process imagery. Not PrimeTex premises.
06The people you deal with
When a line stops you are not calling a company, you are calling a person who knows your machine. These are the people who pick up.
General Manager
Runs the commercial side and the supplier relationships. The person to talk to about a partnership or a large order.
Technical Manager
Twenty years on knitting and spinning floors. Confirms fitment and leads commissioning.
Spare Parts
Matches part numbers, tracks availability and chases lead times so you do not have to.
Field Service
On the road most days. Installation, preventive maintenance and the calls that come in at 2am.
07What our customers say
The only review that matters in this trade is whether the line ran again.
“They asked for the nameplate photograph before quoting, which nobody else did. The needles fitted first time and the line was back up the same shift.”
03Service
Everything from putting a machine on the floor to getting it running again at short notice.
Positioning, levelling, power and air connection, first run and handover. The machine leaves our hands producing, not merely installed.
Scheduled inspection and wear-part replacement before a failure sets the schedule for you. Planned downtime is always cheaper than unplanned.
Diagnosis and repair when a line has stopped. Tell us the machine and the symptom and we will tell you what we need to bring.
Wear parts and consumables matched to your machine by manufacturer part number, with fitment confirmed before the order goes in.
Decommissioning, transport, reinstallation and recommissioning — whether across the floor or to another site.
Practical training on your own machines for operators and maintenance staff: settings, routine adjustment, and the faults worth catching early.
Send a nameplate photograph and a part number, and we come back with availability, lead time and price.
