Common questions
- How often should a machine be serviced?
- The manufacturer's interval is the starting point, adjusted for how hard the machine actually runs. A machine on three shifts with coarse yarn is not on the same schedule as one running single shift. We set the interval with you after the first inspection.
- Can we do maintenance ourselves and call you only for problems?
- Yes, and many mills do. In that case the most useful thing we provide is the wear-part supply and the training, so your own staff know what to measure and when a part is past its limit.
- Do you keep a record between visits?
- Yes. Each visit produces a written report, so the next one starts from what was actually found last time rather than from memory.
