Machine relocation

Moving a machine is not transport. It is decommissioning, transport, reinstallation and recommissioning — and the last one is the part that decides whether it produces again.

What is included

  • Decommissioning and preparation for transport
  • Lifting, loading and transport
  • Reinstallation, levelling and connection at the new site
  • Recommissioning and sample production before handover

Common questions

Can you move a machine within the same factory?
Yes. A move across the floor still needs levelling, reconnection and recommissioning — skipping those is how a machine that ran perfectly before the move never runs the same again.
Do you handle machines bought from another mill?
Yes. In that case we would usually recommend an inspection before the move, so you know what condition you are buying before it is on your floor.
