Machine relocation
Moving a machine is not transport. It is decommissioning, transport, reinstallation and recommissioning — and the last one is the part that decides whether it produces again.
What is included
- Decommissioning and preparation for transport
- Lifting, loading and transport
- Reinstallation, levelling and connection at the new site
- Recommissioning and sample production before handover
Common questions
- Can you move a machine within the same factory?
- Yes. A move across the floor still needs levelling, reconnection and recommissioning — skipping those is how a machine that ran perfectly before the move never runs the same again.
- Do you handle machines bought from another mill?
- Yes. In that case we would usually recommend an inspection before the move, so you know what condition you are buying before it is on your floor.
